Thursday 26 January 2017, Timothy and
Titus
GET
EVERYTHING ORGANISED
Pause. Enter into the stillness of God
within.
Reading: “The reason I left you behind in
Crete was for you to get everything organised there and appoint elders in every
town.” (Titus 1:1-5)
Reflection. Jesus handed over to his apostles the
work of preaching and organising the infant Church. And they then handed on
responsibility to others. God trusts us to get organised and engaged in the
work of building up the Church and the world. If there is a feast for “Support
Staff” this is it.
Prayer. Lord, we thank
you for trusting us with your creation -
that we become co-creators with you in building the kingdom of God among us.
