REMAIN IN MY
LOVE
Pause. Enter into the stillness of God
within.
Reading: “Remain in my love as I remain in my
Father’s love.” (John 15:9-11)
Reflection. These chapters speak much of
belonging, staying, being in union. We are made for union. Marriage means the
union of two people, finding fulfilment in one another. Ultimately, we are made
for union with God and this union underlies all relationships and gives
solidity to them, whatever the tempestuous experiences we have.
Prayer. Lord, lead us into this ultimate
belonging. Help us to know we are not made to be alone. Amen
